Hi, as you all know the school has gone to 4 days a week. The library will continue to be open on Friday our only change is that we will close every Friday from 12 to 1 for lunch. If you have any questions please give us a call. Students will be able to come in and use the library any Friday.
You may have noticed we no longer have World Book Online available through the State Databases, this is due to budget cuts that I am sure we all are feeling. Britannica Online Encyclopeida has offered to the state of Kansas their database free for our use through August 2012. You will find it on the right hand side of our website under DATABASES and Britannica Online just click on this link and it is available to you. The first time in you will need to enter

Password: preview
It will then be available from that computer during the year’s preview.
Rolla Library & School participated in the Read for the Record 2011 program, that has students across the nation all reading the same book on the same day. Click on RedPajama and read the book and see our students.
