The 2012 Kansas Reads…Our Boys: A Perfect Season with the Smith Center Redmen by Joe Drape kicks off on Friday, January 27. A statewide reading and discussion project sponsored by the Kansas Center for the Book at the State Library of Kansas. Come into the library and check it out!
We have new books, James Patterson, Nevada Barr, Patricia Cornwell, Tom Clancy, Jack Higgins, Janet Evanovich and more!
We had a great time playing water limbo, pop goes the water balloon, beach blanket volleyball and balloon toss. We ended with a luau, smoothies and a hula contest.
What a fun project this was, the kids had a great time and did a really good job!
